COMPANY MISSSION: Alchemists, Inc. commits itself to empower students to create a lasting difference in their lives and lives of others through seminars and student coaching programs. COMPANY VISION: By the Year 2012, Alchemists, Inc. is the Pioneer Student-Coaching Company in the Philippines that promotes a community of student achievers in the academic and social setting. FOUNDERS: Assoc. Prof. Rene Luis Tadle has a Masteral degree in Philosophy, Masters in Communication Disorders from the University of Santo Tomas and PLM respectively; he graduated Magna Cum Laude in his Licentiate in Philosophy; he teaches in the UST College of Nursing. Prof. Tadle has also been a board member of T.E.S.D.A. from 1998-2004. Asst. Prof. Ernestus Padilla has a Bachelor degree in Classical Literature (Magna Cum Laude), Bachelor in Philosophy (Summa Cum Laude), and Licentiate in Philosophy (Summa Cum Laude) all taken from the University of Santo Tomas; Ernest taught at the UST College of Education from 1984 until 2003. Prof. Padilla was also in-charge of the UST Community Service Program and Branch Chief of the Community Welfare Service of the UST ROTC. Ms. Brenda Luy, RN is a faculty member of the UST College of Nursing, she landed 18th in the June 2002 Nursing Licensure Exam. Ms. Luy also worked as an Operating Room Nurse for the University of Santo Tomas Hospital. Mrs. Joan Tuazon-Tadle, RN is the loving wife of Rene and a former faculty member of the UST College of Nursing. Joan worked as a nurse in the University of Maryland Hospital, USA and now currently pursuing a career in business while continuing her practice as a Nurse Traveler in the United States. Mr. John Vincent Ignacio is a faculty member of the UST College of Nursing since 2000 and the Chief-Executive-Officer of Alchemists, Inc. Mr. Ignacio is the current Coordinator for the Student Welfare and Development Board and Sports Coordinator of the UST College of Nursing. Jay Vee also participated in the development of Problem-Based Learning Curriculum for the UST College of Nursing. He has been active in Faculty Development Trainings and Seminars in the same institution. PROGRAM OFFERINGS: Strategies for Accelerated Learning and Thinking (S.A.L.T. 1) SALT 1 is a two-day PEAK PERFORMANCE EXPERIENTIAL SEMINAR-WORKSHOP thru Life Mapping, Active Listening and Critical Note Taking, Time Mapping and Mind Mapping. Strategies for Advanced Leadership Training (S.A.L..T. 2 –A) SALT 2-A is a two-day program designed to introduce the students to different Leadership strategies, Skills and Values based on Fundamental Assessment of one’s own thinking, skills and values. Strategies for Advanced Leadership Training (S.A.L..T. 2 –B) SALT 2-B is a three-day-two nights off-campus program designed to train student leaders of the Essentials of Leadership through Team Building, Effective Communication, Critical and Creative Thinking, Goal-Setting and Value Formation. SALT 2-B aims to produce student leaders with Character and Integrity.
